Very true. I do but not in public nobody even knows I have it not even my buddies and when im doing a burnout is when I usualy purge the lines, blends in with the smoke and the noise cuts out the sound. So far so good I suppose?

That's how all my nitrous was, I didn't hide a thing.
When I had my exhaust put on, one of the guys that works at the muffler shop is a constable, and tried to get us for street racing all the time but decided to pop my hood while the car was there and now waves everytime I'm in my car.
Op clean install, nitrous was always fun on the street when I had it. With a 295 kdw street tire it would almost dead hook. I'll try to find some old vids

Hey Im not busting on you Im just pointing out shit you need to be cognizant of. If you street race and its for cash and you blast somebody off they may corner you afterwards with a "closer inspection". You may not get paid, you may get worse. I dont know how shit is there but you should always be prepared, expect the worse and stay frosty.

I don't know about you, but when I was racing for $$ back in the day, you run what ya brung. You didn't have to tell anyone jack shit about what you had. If you chose to give some info about your ride, you just didn't understate your engine size. If someone got beat cause you had nitrous, that's tough shit on them and they have to pay up. A $200 lesson for them. But eventually, if you race enough, people will know your car. And race you accordingly. Many times, I would be asked to take the bottle off of my small block Chevy when I would smoke a big block guy. It was my choice as to whether or not I did. But he still paid for losing the first race.

Same thing with my Trailblazer SS. It was easy to hide the large majority of the plumbing and my purge line was right next to the trans pointing towards the rear of the truck. It was a tremendous sleeper and I hurt more than a few people's feelings with it.

And I'm with the others on not hiding mine when I had it. All the lines were obvious with the hood up and the purge came out of the running Mustang snout in the grill. My favorite use of it was lining up at the track against a Firebird making a lot of noise. His buddy called out "no problem it's just a V6 convertible". I then hit the purge for a nice plume, treed him, and he never ran me down. For some reason they didn't want to talk after getting beat by "just a V6"

Yea I wouldn't have shown him shit, told him to kick rocks and kiss your ass. He can't make you pop your hood for inspection for nitrous if you weren't doing anything.

You can do that, but would you want them to search your car for "suspicion of narcotics"? If you refuse that, they will simply call into the DA's office, have you sit or hand cuffed to a pole for 2-4 hours til the warrant is approved. Thats the shit cops can put you there. Never happened to me, but friends whom refused searches go through this crap.

You arent wasting their time by refusing the search, just your own....
