My engine compartment is "dark", the car is black I have a painted plenum cover and fuel rail covers and some carbon fiber pieces. I recently intalled a polished GT 500 t/b (not shown) and want to do something with the stock valve covers. I was thinking chrome or red to match the painted pieces, any suggestions?

This is just what I would think of doing if this was my engine bay......

I wouldn't go chrome with the valve covers, maybe a black or gray(to go with the CF). I think red would be ok, but maybe too much red focused in that one area if so.

Also, maybe add a few more red pieces to even some of the red and black out. I don't know....jus throwing ideas out here. Good luck!

Take the plenum and fuel rail covers off. Paint or powder coat the cam covers, TB, and fuel rails red

I can't see the picture here at work, but I'd dump the fuel rail covers and just paint the valve covers. A polished dress up kit to go with the TB would be nice. Keep it simple. Go will all CF or don't go with it at all. Mixing and matching it doesn't look good.
