What's an early 90s foxbody worth?

Larry please learn how this forum works. Do not come into someone's thread and ruin it with all of your unrelated dribble. Go create your own thread if you want to show off that Mopar.

The fox is worth what someone will give for it. If its a 4 eye there are some people who consider them more desirable and would pay more for it.

Since the Mustang is not for sale, everything should be removed.

Best example on getting an old car sitting for years back to running is the show on Motor Trend called Road Kill.

I'd like to see "frame rail" under the battery before I give it a thumbs up.

I see that your buddy isn't selling, but in the interest of information. It cost me ~$2,800 to get a car road-ready after sitting about a decade, although it was carbureted, garage kept, and still has a couple things that need attention.

You could probably get it running and driving, with a minimum of:
- New brake lines, rotors, pads... drum brakes in back on this year?
- All new fluids
- Fuel tank is probably okay if you just empty it and replace the old fuel. I needed a new sending unit and fuel pump in my situation.
- Maybe tires if they are dry-rotted
- Whatever that sensor issue is that you mentioned.
- Battery
- Plugs, wires
- Fuel filter, air filter
- Leaks? I'll bet its got a couple after sitting that long outside.

New fuel tank and fuel lines will save any really strange things going on as you test drive it for other things.

This information is helpful. The car may come up again in the future (turns out his sister wanted the car, and he did not know this when he mentioned it to me). If it does, I'll share with you guys! Thanks

You can do lots of things if you get the car for free.
