Are you an automatic? What gears did you have before you switched?

I disagree. My gas mileage was not effected that much at all. before the gears my mix driving would get me between 20-22MPG now im between 19-21.

highway did change, if im all highway I used to get 23-25ish if i was lucky. with the 4.10s thats 20-23ish now

This will also depend on the terrain in your area. In a flat area it's more likely to see a drop. But somewhere hilly you may not and it's possible to see a gain. The 3.31 gears are for flat highway and hills are not friendly to them.

Where I live it's extremely hilly so I'd be surprised if I see a drop when 4.10s go in. Well, it might at first since I'll be "testing" them quite a lot. lol :)

What are the cons of going to 4.10's? Im in the same situation not sure whether to run 3.73s or 4.10s in my auto. If I run 4.10's am I going to sacrifice top end speed? What if im more into road racing vs straight line racing?

Keep in mind the auto and manual trans are geared differently, for the auto I'd stick with 3.73's especially if you want to go FI or run road courses IMO, but many run 410's on the auto and love them. Yes you are bound to lose some top end going with the 4.10's. It's all a matter of opinion and what your goals are.

I cant really say that I daily drive mine, that said, I went with a 4.10 in my auto and wish I had went to a 4.30.

i second this, but i have a manual trans... its still about the same tho... my traveling is almost all highway and it wasn't just killed by the 4.10's... was 23/24 now is anywhere from 20/22 average...

the main reason your gas mileage will drop is because you gonna be heavy on the throttle a lot!
