Which Ones Should I Get?

Been through a number of high performance summer tires on the front of my car. I've narrowed it down to these two but was looking for anyone with real world experience. Read plenty of reviews but I always take those with a grain of salt. I'm looking for decent wet weather traction as it seems like every time it rains here I have had issues with loss of traction up front from hydroplaning. It doesn't usually rain a whole lot here but when it does I would love to have a little more confidence so I don't look silly driving a 500 hp car at 45 on the freeway.

Hate ‘em. Well they’re not that bad. Had some Toyo TR1’s once. They were pretty good but they don’t make them any more. The NT05’s weren’t bad but didn’t last very long for front tires.

I know I’m never going to get superior wet traction with summer compound tires but I want to avoid sketchy performance. Just something that won’t be so scary.

Major problem we have here anyways is that it rains so seldom here, oil and shit builds up for long periods of time. When it does rain the roads get extra slick due to the amount of build up left when you don’t get frequent rains to wash it away.

What's wrong with the Nitto NT-555 G2 ? It's got 5 x rain grooves..vs just 3 on the plane jane NT-555's.

I just bought the Michelin Pilot Sport as 3 plus for my 2010 mustang and am really impressed in wet weather. No hydroplane what so ever highly recommend.

I actually ended up with the P Zero Comp tires. They had a better wet weather performance rating but less treadlife.

I have a 2013 Boss 302 LS. Tried a number of different brands and to date, the best I have found are the Continental Conti Extreme Sport. I get good feedback in dry and wet. And the cost is doable.
