cop on my back

So I am thinking I am going to drive to Vegas from the Westcoast of Canada for the 50th anniversary party and, more importantly, the road course event. So I need to start prepping the car now. I have run Pacific Raceways in Seattle 4 times with slotted rotors and Hawk HP Plus pads.
Problem is, those pads eat rotors. I basically trash a set after about an hour of track time. Seattle is pretty hard on braking from what I am told. So I want to run pads that will withstand the severe braking yet not destroy the rotors.
Advice please.
Oh, car is a 2005 GT, stock motor with some suspension upgrades. SS brake lines, Motul 600 fluid and front brake ducts.
Thanks
