So.....why would you get solid when there is numerous hollow bars available for a vert?

Sam carries them............

I ended up going with Hellwig as I've been pm'ing with RDK since last week, but if the rear doesnt fit then I will be calling you.

Well, ok.... I sell Hellwig, in fact I have them make my bars (which are quite different). And I think their rear bar is too big... and their adjustment setup is the same as mine, and likely will have issues with your brackets.

I offered time and time again for you to call me. I wish you'd have done it.

I stated my reasoning for the purchase in post 19. Had I been talking sooner and more with Sam, I may or may not have gone with his. Since Ryan at RDK was very responsive to my PMs 24/7 and I like the Hellwig, I went with him.

I also came across the below link, so I may need to make similar changes. Worst case scenario, I will sell the rear bar and look for a new one.

Sam, if the rear doesn't work out, then I may still call you.

DRock, how much of a weight difference is an equivalent performing hollow bar compared to the solid?

Solid bars in a set are some 20+ pounds more than hollow. And I have no issue with Hellwig as a company, I deal with them directly.

As for answering PM's 24/7... well, I don't live at my office, and frankly do a ton of business. I just checked voicemail and had 15 messages waiting. I'd love it if I could respond immediately to everyone, but it's not possible. And a big reason why is I want to talk to customers to make sure they are getting the correct part for their needs.

no problem, I didnt mean this against you, and I wouldn't expect anyone to. edit: I woudlnt expect anyone to reply 24/7...

Edit: I just got off the phone with Hellwig, to confirm that they dont carry hollows for the rear and to find out the weight. They only do solid for the vert, I know other do tubs... The tubular is about 8.5 lb and the solid is 16lb. So no where near 20lb difference, unless the guy was wrong. Which coudl happen, lol, but he took his time to check.

Just some information, our solid 22mm rear S197 sway bar kit is pretty light.

Our entire kit, seen here, tips the scales at < 20lbs....packed and ready to ship. Figure roughly 5-7 lbs in just boxes, shipping materials and hardware.
