Above is a link to a pretty good article about fuel hoses. I'm not sure how many are using rubber core fuel hose, but I have it on my car and I'm getting rid of it. I'm also switching to a return style fuel setup. There are pros and cons to that, but I think the return style is just easier over all. The big thing is that fuel dissolves rubber. Switching to Teflon is just a good idea as it is stable with modern fuel and fuel additives.

Just remember with Teflon, once they heat up and are set they can and will break if you try to bend them or pull them.
