I just ordered a "new" Tial Q BOV from AmericanMuscle.com, but they sent me a used one, and it's even missing the flange. Right on the box it said "this item has been inspected".
Aside from that disappointment, it was their last one in stock. I may return it anyway, as who knows what's up with the bov and I haven't opened it to verify it has the right spring, BUT if I did decide to keep it, would valve scratches like this cause hangups or other non-smooth operation?
Not sure what AM will do about this, since the first guy was super nice and noticed I've seen several thousand dollars with them, and said he would look into how much he could give back since they can't (shouldn't) resell it.
I called today to check up on it, and the guy I got today just said "Doesn't look to bad to me. Maybe a little dirty."...completely ignoring the fact they sent me a used one with a missing flange that apparently was "inspected".
Not really impressed with AmericanMuscle.com at the moment.
Multiple photos showing all the way around and the lack of the flange.
