Window switch

Ok so this is an unexciting thread. My window doesn't do the thing where it goes up on its own when you pull the switch all the way up anymore. And when I open the door, it does the thing where it goes down a little bit but it doesn't go back up to reseal the door. The latter is the biggest problem because I don't want any water to get in. Is this just a bad switch?

Look up the window reset. Did you replace the battery or lose power recently?

turn key to accessory hold switch down for 3 seconds, hold switch up for 3 seconds....something like this

Window not going up when door is closed, was my first indicator my battery was dying. (And needed to reset the window as mentioned above)
