Rj do you or anyone have a good write up with good photos how to do a simple battery relocation and where to write it through?

Did a search and found one thread with a few threads compiled along with 05strokers write up but photos don't show up anymore for whatever reason

I wired mine along the passenger side inside of the car. And used a 3 into one distribution block at the factory battery spot

Then I grounded the battery to the rear of the trunk panel where an existing ground already was and has done fine

Where did you run the wiring through? Is there an accessible hole on the lower end of the fire wall that you can drag the wiring through to get inside the vehicle? Have a picture of the distribution block you're talking about? Not sure what that looks like

There's a huge rubber grommet in the passenger side foot well you can run it through. I also used that location to run my plugs for the fuse box. Here's a pic of the distribution block

Will do man. Cars tucked away for winter and all tarped up outside. Hopefully weather gets nicer around her in April so I can start doing some work

mine worked for a while, then the starter started acting up. i thought i had a bad safety switch and replaced that, but it didn't make any difference. i re-worked the ground in the trunk by adding a better nut and bolt set up to ground the cable, and then it worked flawlessly, until the battery gets a little low (car sits a lot since it's not my daily). when the battery gets a little low the symptoms will return, but topping it off with the tender will eliminate that.

also, i used the starter post as the central connection point for the alternator/battery/feed cable to the BEC. it eliminated having to add any 3 or 4 way connectors inside the fender or anywhere else.

It's really not that bad at all. As long as you don't need your car. Kinda calming actually, maybe I'm just weird like that.

do yourself a favor. before trying to start the car, go thru all the fuses and relays in the BEC and push them all back into place to make sure none have come loose. after i did mine, the car wouldn't start. i knew i had wired everything correctly, since i cut-spliced-soldered one wire at a time. the jostling of the BEC around when moving it knocked a relay or fuse loose. the car would fire with starting fluid, but wouldn't stay running, so i was pretty sure it was something related to the fuel pump or injectors. i found one relay that wasn't making a good connection, snapped it back into place. and it's been running ever since.
