I had an aftermarket antenna and the threaded part rusted and got stuck in the base - it snapped off right at the top of the base. I've tried removing it with reverse threaded bit, with no luck and I think I've stripped out some of the threads of the base - needless to say I think its ruined and need a new one - the Ford part number is 18A984, and I don't want to pay $50 for what a new one cost according to their website. This would be for a 2006.

Or I would be interested in some nice looking antenna delete options if anybody has one.

I got a good base, cover, all of it. And a little antenna 'stub'. I'll send pics and prices via a pm.

These were removed from my car last summer; I had the hole filled and painted at a body shop.

I bought a new shorty antenna (hence the reason I was trying to remove the antenna on the car), but thanks a bunch!
