Looking for:
good condition 4.6l 3v motor with manual harness
5speed tr3650
Stock driveshaft
Exhaust manifold, Hpipe, mids

I'm basically piecing together a 4.6 swap into my v6

Im in SoCal and can probably pick up anywhere from bay area to SD

Don't forget you'll need to upgrade the brakes and suspension too if you're adding the extra weight.

..you dont HAVE to, but it's not a bad idea to do replace the front springs/struts with at least Gt take-offs, unless you already have an aftermarket setup.
Brakes can be upgraded when you want; I waited over a year to upgrade mine.

You'll need other parts, too; there's write-ups on mustangcollective.com. Make sure you get a pcm and engine harness that's compatible with your year model.

+1 on location; there may be local options. Also check local forums and craigslist and such.

Location added. I've already got brembos up front and suspension is upgraded already. now ready for MORE POWER!!! :)

I really want to find a motor, tr3650, pcm combo so i can basically drop everything in at once. I saw the write ups on mustangcollective and i will definitely be going there when the time comes to drop everything in.

you're gonna have to be patient if you don't want to spend a ton.

a buddy and i are doing the same swap in his car soon. we found the drivetrain searching inventories through car-part.com. had to piece some things together, but it looks like we're good to go.

definitely find the wrecked donor car, that's the way to go.

i've got a thread on the collective from my v8 swap three years ago. guys like texasblown made it simple with their awesome write-ups on how to do these swaps.

good luck!
