Had 5 dollars to spend................Subway footlong? Nah, taste like a drywall sandwitch to me!! LOL Home Depot spray paint gloss black for plastic surfaces instead.

Scuffed up the pony with some 150 grit sandpaper and taped the shit out of the front end. Removing the pony seemed way too much trouble for such a small job. I then applied 3 light coats. Let it dry for a couple of hours then took off the tape. Looks fabulous IMO..............and it was only $5 dollars!!! Now I can put off my eleanor grill purchase and apply funds to my 4.10 install later this week!:boobies:

I did my GT emblems too. I tried adding some clear but it put a grayish color to the black. So I sanded it and went all black. I like how you cant screw up the reinstall via the alignment pins!! LOL

Love the way it came out. Fake gas cap is next.

I'm confused.. how did you take the GT thing off?

I read people used fishing line.. but did they just "saw" it all around it but not through the 2 pins or do you have to go through the pins?

then after that its:

150 grit.. sand a little

spray with flat back paint for plastic
then clear coat.. ?

I want mine to be back/gray.. will look good with carbon fiber hood..
