Once the engine and transmission are out of the vehicle, unbolt the transmission from the engine - leaving the T/C bolted to the flex plate. Once the transmission is out of the way, you can unbolt the T/C from the flex plate.
I dont think i have the ceiling height to pull the engine and trans together. I can barely pull the motor out, and even then i had to remove the oil pan for clearance last time. That was with the front wheels off, and the car lowered on jacks as far down as i could possibly get it.
I was told that i should be able to jack the transmission up so its perfectly level with engine and pull the engine forward and the converter should come with it
