I think it was Motortrend that had one run 11.3 with stock tires. With both cars running slicks and hard launches I hope that the GT500 will be more competitive in the 1/4 with it's live axil vs the ZR1's IRS.
My hope is for the Mustang to tear up anything that Government Motors puts on the road.
With both cars on slicks and hard launches I dont see the Mustang going 10.20's. A stock ZR1 has already done it on drag radials. Looks like that IRS worked pretty decent to me.
I give up on Camaro/GM owners. They are the most sensitive, butt-hurt group of people I've ever encountered. They're worse than the French.
This^ They are the worst. they are the most blind brand loyal people ever. 99% wont ever look at a Ford or even consider it. I am a Ford guy, but I would look at a GM vehicle IF they had one better than ford hahaha. But I dont hate them, just dont care for them.
Any idea what rpms the ZR1s are launching at? That car looks like it's coming up too evenly.
Yeah. I'm brand loyal because I like Ford's designs and powertrain directions. That said, I'd LOVE a Challenger R/T or SRT8! Such a sick car! GM has thus far been utterly disappointing in terms of car styling. They lost me when the C5 died...the C6 is an ugly sumbitch.
I don't know what the guy launched at but Im sure he is slipping the clutch quite a bit to get it to stick.
The live axil is defiately superior for dumping it at 6k.
I don't think anybody is expecting the gt500 to run with a zr1, nor should it being that it's in a different class of car and price range.
The zr1 is in the 100k range it better be faster, shiieeet lol
