Put the car on the rollers today, made 605/655 on a 150 shot with a very safe tune !! Made 441/398 on motor. Tunes were very smooth from JDM. Can't wait to put the 200 jets on it and get it tweaked !!!!

Yep it's a 2011 5.0.. I have video but have to figure out how to upload it. I was pretty happy, the shop was out of nitrous, and I only had 950 psi in the bottle. It was pretty rich, but my tuner decided to leave it alone. I'm going to go back in a week or two and have a full bottle. Should make a few more hp at 1050 psi bottle pressure. Also he only pulled it to 6500 rpm. I was thinking people were turning them higher with the boss intake. It never got lean, he just shut it down at 6500. Said he wasn't sure where JDM set the rev limiter and didn't want to hit it.

Damn man, what other mods are on the car? Plate or nozzle? I've got intake, tune, xpipe, mufflers and a plate kit on 150. I never imagined I'd be even close to that in hp or torque. I was figuring around 520-540 whp and right around 600wtq but I haven't been dyno'd yet. Also what rpm did you pull to?

Car has C&L cold air intake with 95mm housing, boss intake, long tubes, off road x-pipe, magnaflow cat back, 3:73's. Also has aluminum driveshaft so that frees up some power, and had the race star wheels on it which are lighter than stock so that helps too. I have a plate kit on it. I was running low on nitrous and only got my bottle to 950psi so there's a few more ponies when I get better bottle pressure. Also, the race shop guy only spun it to 6500 rpm. Tune was spot on, it's a JDM tune. Talked to Jim today and he's going to tweak it for me when he's down here in a couple weeks.

why mess with the tune if it's spot on? Just currious?

Need to check it again. If the bottle pressure was low it would be leaner with a full bottle.

Tune was great but Jim wants to datalog it for safety reasons and hen I am planning on having another tune made for a 200 shot on race gas. Air fuel was around 11.2 max during the pull. I'm not spraying it anymore till he looks at it. Better safe than sorry LOL!!

great numbers! esp for a low rpm pull. Im still waiting for someone to pull a nitrous 5.0 with boss manifold up in the 7200-7500 range.

We have a customer with a direct port that shoulod be getting in back on when he gets back in the states. He is going to start with a 200 and pull high. LOL

Congrats on the numbers again!

I would keep it at 950 psi on the bottle pressure. Then adjust the tune around that. 950 is the sweet spot you will get the power with less pressure drop through out the run. I never run anything higher than a 1000 psi.

Cool thanks for the advice! Tuner said to keep it around 1000 but no higher than 1050. I know the more pressure the leaner it's gona get. It was nice and safe at 950
