Lol I'm not talking about me in particular. I'm talking about when trying to help the mustang community. Look at the facts. Look at what is offered by each company. Then make the decision.

I tried to run the Lund tune, but like what happened a few times before, it wouldn't load on my car. But I did run at a notoriously slower track, in the same DA, with the same mods. Sorry best I could do.

And for the CAI, I didn't test shit lol. I was just saying everyone says it only makes more power than stock on a dyno due to IATs being low because the hood is open and on the street while driving IATs are the same as if the hood was open so it only makes sense it would be the same thing. But that's a different discussion for a different thread.

Woo hoo! What was the your mph and the DA? I highly doubt it was positive lol. Or you were on a tire.
showa how much you know. Da never gets negative here. It was 2200. I said bone stock car. Your times are nowhere near impressive for your mods. I went 11.6 with just an x pipe tune and tires in 1300 da later on in that year.

Lol so you ran a 12.32 in a bone stock car? I definitely call bs on that. Timeslip?

Dude, if Seer says he did it, I believe him. He has an excellent reputation for being the type of guy who doesn't pull any punches about things. If his personal favorite tire is a Goodyear, but his least favorite tire is Hankook, he's going to give you the straight up skinny if the Hankook is better. And not only will he tell you it's his least favorite, he will tell you why it's better than the Goodyear and then, he will buy the Hankook because it did better.

You are being a tremendous tool and AM nut swinger. AM is a great company and they do some fine tuning, and I don't doubt their integrity as a company, so this just leaves me wondering one thing. What are you getting out of this? You are practically bashing Lund tuning every chance you get and showing your hard on for AM.

Just because I get one good experience from company A and a mediocre experience from company B, that doesn't mean I'm going to go swing off the sweaty, hairy sack of company A. But you sure are. How dem nuts taste?

What kills me about iceguyb14 is he has had a new 5.0 for all of what 3 months now and he knows everything there is to know about one. LOL There are people on this board who have had 5.0's since the beginning like myself who waded through all the trials and experiments and actually know what works and what doesn't when it comes to these cars. Then he wants to come on here and tell us what works and what doesn't with all of his 3 months of experience. What a fucking TARD......

Well, some people need a little "convincing".............I was a skeptic on advice and experiences you guys were going through and sharing with the community until I woke up and realized what was being shared and actually stepped into the realm of 5.blow awesomeness....LOL.

Patience grasshoppers............Not everybody is as smart as me. LOL!!!!!

KenB and Jon Lund's tunes speak for themselves. KenB being the mouthpiece for their business was EXACTLY what this community was begging for at one time and he has done an excellent job with customer service and tune building and tweaking.

Now back to our regularly scheduled arguements. :laughlots:

I was doing my best to stay out of this one but.....I can't help myself!

I understand the OP may have made some interesting posts about other stuff but he gave his opinion on what his experience was with Lund/Ken B....he listed what he did, what he saw and what his results were and he did it in a non bashing way, IMO he posted facts....he and Ken both gave their sides of their stories, neither one seems upset with the other so why all the name calling and bashing? Lund's name is well known, I don't think the OP's experience with Lund will stop anyone from using them, so what is the problem? Isn't this what fourms were created for? For people to dicuss things like this? As long as there weren't any bashing of vendors, really nasty name calling, etc, what was wrong with what the OP did?

Not too much until he started being a smart ass towards Seer. I do think he has nit-picked and been slightly argumentative with Ken B. Then in his Youtube video, he had to mention he didn't like Lund's tune over Bama's. The video has nothing to do with Lund, so why even bring that up? He posted here what his experiences were with Lund's tune and I took that as an honest review of HIS experiences. Wasn't going to say anything until icecube wanted to start shit with Seer about strip times. The shit with KenB irritated me a bit, but wasn't worth posting just for that.

My nutswinger detector is going off with this guy.

Lol if you spent $200 on a tune that made less power than you and the tuner wanted to see, didn't run a great mph at the track, and you were left waiting on more than one occasion for service, would you be happy? That's the whole point. I listened to what a few of you guys said and the stuff Lund said and they convinced me to go with them. I try and help people be informed. There really is no reason to spend $50 more on the Lund tune. There's literally no benefit to going with them. Yeah they make some good tunes, I never said mine sucked. But in all honesty the AM tunes are better. And frankly its irritating. Look at it from my point of view.

And this isn't one good experience from AM. I've had many great experiences from them. This is just another one.

I'm not trying to act like I know everything. There is still a lot I have to learn. This post was just to give MY experiences with both. That's all. Looking back I wish I hadn't spent the money on the tune ill never use but oh well, live and learn.

And about seer, I know he's a good guy, just saying 12.32 in a stock car on stock tires in the DA he said sounds virtually impossible. If a new guy came on here posting he did that, everyone would call bs lol. That's why I just wanted to see the slip. If it's true, gotta give him props lol.

And who cares what I post on YouTube. It's the same damn thing as the forum. Just trying to help others out.

So now based of your one experience there is NO reason to go with us because we are more?

You truly are clueless or just trying to bash. Which I think everyone in this thread has figured out already.

I can see those points; I can also see why he was questioning Seer, the OP is right, if anyone else would have come on here with those claims we would have called BS and have been relentless on the poster until a slip was posted....and IMO he was not being an ass to Seer, he was just asking for proof which is no more than what the rest of us do/have done.

I wasn't saying anything about your initial review. I had no issues with it. It's all the follow on comments that eventually got to me. Your stated impressions of AM's service and products are exactly what I've experienced with them except my Lund tune runs much better than my Bama tune does now.

In an earlier post, you said:

For me Bama has better performance, better customer service, better price, more tunes, more support, cylinder 8 warranty, and free tunes for life.. Stop being Lund fanboys and look at the facts.. I let you guys talk me into getting their tune to start and I wish I hadn't. Oh well. And no I didn't get free tunes in return for the good review. They didn't even know I was gonna post a review lol.

You may want to look at the small print on AM's website. If your car has run anything but AM's tunes, you have no engine warranty with them for their tune. You have all the rest of the things you mentioned and AM is an excellent, outstanding company to deal with. I see no reason to not use their tunes now.

No i'm saying no reason to choose Lund over AM/Bama for normal bolt ons. And based off my experience I really believe that. Not trying to be a dick, just being honest man. I'd go with you guys if I had an all out build. You guys seem to be pretty good with them.

^^ just to clarify; that was bone stock down to the stock tires and paper filter?

That was a bone stock 5.0, with a few hundred miles on it that my friend just picked up a day or so before and threw the keys to me while at the track.

Manual with 3.55
