I talked to an OKC fan on Tuesday night. He was inconsolable. Crying and everything. Said the Heat were cheating. Blamed the refs. I told him that it was ok to cry, but that the Heat weren't cheating. He didn't fully understand how the game worked, much the same way that some of you don't seem to understand (or don't want to understand).

I'm not an OKC fan, and I could care less about Lebron. This whole season, how it started and the way it ended is bullshit. Yeah, I'm a Laker fan, trust me, we got screwed by Stern. This has actually been a few years in the making, my feelings about the NBA. I can't stand the way ref's impact the game so much. I used to be a betting man, but after seeing the way Vegas' weight affect the game, I don't bet on anything anymore. I'm just sick of how everything in this country is starting to get corrupted. I say screw it, so I don't watch anymore.
Kinda glad Lebron finally got his ring, now he can stop crying.
Did you watch the first two games? I thought the refs were being insane about calls....at least call it fair both ways. The refs in NBA have ALWAYS had too much sway over the outcome of a game.
so, as i said before, I'm over it. No more NBA for me.

The CP3 trade was bunk, plain and simple. I'll give you that. Lakers were still a better team than they played. I had them in the Finals personally, but that's neither here nor there. They need to jettison Gasoft & Bynum, add another impact player (D. Williams would be an excellent fit) and some depth. The West isn't that strong outside of OKC and is still winnable for them. They better take advantage of Kobe while they have him; he won't be elite for that much longer.
The refs do have an impact on the game, but they have an impact on every game in every sport. They are far from perfect. But they weren't the factor in this series that it's made out to me.
I seriously doubt that Vegas made the Heat blow the Thunder out and the spread sure as hell wasn't -15, lol. BTW, you do know that the Heat were favorites to win at the beginning of the season, right?

One more stat: The team who had more points in the paint won every game in this series. Most fouls are called in the paint. I find it hard to believe that is a coincidence.

I've already said they were a factor. I then gave you about 25 other factors as to why OKC lost. You are trying to make your ONE point outweigh my MULTIPLE points. You can't even dispute any of my points, lol. You need to get off the ref angle. You are diminishing the efforts of your team, who fought pretty hard throughout. Very convenient that you had nothing to say about the refs after game 1. Strange.
What's your explanation for Harden's vanishing act?
What's your explanation for the Heat getting contributions from more than just two people on a nightly basis as opposed to the Thunder only getting efforts from two?
What's your explanation for the constant lack of ball movement on offense? Iso basketball will not win a championship.

I'd kill for a shot chart on this series to see how many jump shots OKC shot. What's worse is that the Heat don't even have a real center! OKC has two and they were liabilities!
