Okay guys. Anybody get their car flashed yesterday or today?

The more I drive the car, the more responsive it feels. I have to say, I am much happier after driving all day today compared to yesterday. It's especially better on the top-end around 5k to 7k. It puts me back in the seat much better.

I took my other GT for a ride when I got home tonight and I don't really feel any difference anymore.

I hope this is a long-term fix.
Glad to hear it, the other two guys i know of said they were feeling sluggish throttle response

I put almost 400 miles on the car before it really felt right. Let them know to drive it a bit and see how it works out. I was super pissed at first, but I'm much happier today.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say the dealer didn't do the idle relearn properly, and the ECU just had to learn over time.

Mine was a big sluggish too when I first drove it. But it has gotten noticeably better after a few days. Honestly it drove like I thought one of the 6 mile brand new '13s drove when I test drove one before I drove my car. My best description is "flat". I have a 500 mile road trip today and I'm sure it will get better as the computer keeps feeding in timing etc.

A TSB is not a recall. It's just a piece of documentation that a dealer can use to troubleshoot and/or resolve a particular issue that MAY exist on a customer's vehicle. If your vehicle is exhibiting the symptoms described by the TSB, your best bet is to tell the dealership of these symptoms and inform them that you heard a recently issued TSB may apply. I've found that walking in with a copy of the TSB printed out and saying "please do this work" doesn't end well ... most people don't like being told how to do their jobs.

That TSB may cause dealers to overlook cars like mine which required a reflash with the updated tune.

It says "iIf any DTCs P0300-P0308 are present in KOER and/or a driveability concern, such as cylinder misfire, is present, do not continue with this article. Refer to Powertrain Control/Emissions Diagnosis (PC/ED) manual for normal diagnostics."

Well, mine had driveability issues, but if they follow the TSB, the dealer shouldn't do the update. WTF?

Some people may think the loss of power is a drivability issue, but that is a protection mode due to the false misfires triggered. Do you have other issues then that?

Yes, the car had a "seat of the pants" noticeable fluctuation in power/torque. My two cars dyno'ed with a 30 rwtq difference, with the one having the problem being lower. And to make it worse, it was intermittent.

I also had some stalling issues and hard starts just before the KAM and misfire tables were cleared.

I haven't put it on the dyno since it was reflashed to confirm all is right, but I sure can't feel any difference anymore. That is what first got me to the dealer... the seat of the pants just didn't seem right. It eventually got bad enough to test for and find.

For the most part, a dealer will not perform a TSB unless they can verify the symptoms exist.

I need to have the drivebelt TSB done, but every time I take my car to the dealer, it doesn't make the noise.

Emoticons to the rescue.

Well guys... bad news I'm afraid. :pissed1: My car has less than 1,000 miles on it with the new tune and it is now doing the exact same thing. The CEL came on twice today and the misfires were so bad that I could hardly get the car to move.

To make thinks worse for me, my other GT did it on Saturday.
