The Roush might be going bye-bye for a new 2009, and I am looking into maybe doing the Edelbrock supercharger. It's TVS based, and I am just looking into it to have something a little different than the others out there. I'd like to get some thoughts on it from everyone.

Other than that, I will be throwing our whole catalog at this car if it all goes through. 2009 Vapor Silver automatic with a glass roof.

If this one proves to deliver as advertised, I think we have another great TS blower. I like 'em so much that I pre-ordered mine a couple weeks ago and am patiently awaiting notification that is in route!! :thumb:

We talked to the Edelbrock guys at both SEMA and PRI about this blower. Looks like a very efficient unit and it seems to be making excellent power on 5-6 lbs of boost. Some people were skeptic on the inlet tube but I really don't see the problem. Looks a lot like the new Techco unit too.

Glass roof, eh? Nice! Didn't get a chance to stop at the Steeda booth at PRI but looks like y'all had a decent amount of traffic whenever I was on my way past.

The regular unit only does 5 lbs of boost, but I will go with a smaller pulley to up it to 8-10 to aim for 450 at the wheels. No way am I going with only 5lbs, I've already done that route with the Roushcharger. I'm not concerned with the TB, I'm more interested in a CAI and they said they do have one that they are going to do with that supercharger.

2.3 is a little small compared to everything that out there. Let's see how the price goes over.

Actually 2.3 is the industry standard pretty much. Only KB has been going bigger for a long time and thats because they need to to make power. The Techo 3.0L looks promising and the 3.4 whipple has been adapted.

If you can put a 2.3 blower in a full weight street car deep in the 9's with 700 RWHP you cant ask for much more else!

A supercharger from EDELBROCK ....
What is it $10,000?:roflmao:

Although a little high, the set-up that was displayed at SEMA which is supposed to give you ~400RWHP with 5psi (through the stock air box) is $5,700 delivered.

Hey Jim, how much boost is required for 700 rwhp? What is the maximum boost potential of this unit?
