Yeah I used the Dupont rubber sealant stuff at home depot. I'm still probably gonna get the canton tank because it's good for 82hp and 29sextq... :thumb2:

A Little off topic but are we seeing the same issues as the paxton with the Vortech kit in regards to the coolant tank leaking? About to purchase a Vortech kit and if so just goiing to go ahead and by the Canton tank

My tank suffered from expansion and warped . The plastic doesnt hold up to heat/pressure well. It never cracked per se however the sides of the tank actually ended up bowing. I replaced with a canton and it looks ten times better than the stock tank. Not sure if spraying this with a rubber epoxy would help at all because i dont think it would grow with the tank expanding like it did.

Impact gun for the win!!! Its regular righty tight, just annoying. lol

For everyone else:

- Leave belt on and grab your impact gun / swivel / 9/16th socket

- Then remove the bolt and curse at it for being annoying :mad2:

Had mine retuned by Jim from JDM while he was in town, it runs so much better than it did before, I'm still pegging the mass air, but I'm having a custom housing built to solve that issue. He will be back down here in a couple of weeks and he's going to retune it when I put the new housing on. It's nice to have a house a mile down the road from a bad ass tuner!!!

what pid are you logging when you're pegging the mass air? Because the 86.6lb/min limit is actually a limitation of the pid due to sae reasons and not the actual maf limit.

Or are you pegging the voltage?

So is this tank pretty much guaranteed to warp and anyone considering this should add the cost of a Canton?

I dont have one in my hands we are making more right now.

Our tank is the exact size of the paxton tank

I am looking around for these and moat say they fit '05-09 but make no mention if they fit '10/11+. Just to confirm, yours does fit an '11+ one correct?
