Yeah I used the Dupont rubber sealant stuff at home depot. I'm still probably gonna get the canton tank because it's good for 82hp and 29sextq...

A Little off topic but are we seeing the same issues as the paxton with the Vortech kit in regards to the coolant tank leaking? About to purchase a Vortech kit and if so just goiing to go ahead and by the Canton tank

dont mind me. im just HATE'N because i have no big # dyno sheets.
i do however have a 130mph timeslip![]()
Had mine retuned by Jim from JDM while he was in town, it runs so much better than it did before, I'm still pegging the mass air, but I'm having a custom housing built to solve that issue. He will be back down here in a couple of weeks and he's going to retune it when I put the new housing on. It's nice to have a house a mile down the road from a bad ass tuner!!!

It bolts right in and no issues with leaking

Is there a forum discount? I'm going to be installing my paxton blower a week from friday, can't wait!

whats the dimensions of that tank? specifacally the width. The canton tank im using is a tight fit especially near the oil cap
My tank suffered from expansion and warped . The plastic doesnt hold up to heat/pressure well. It never cracked per se however the sides of the tank actually ended up bowing. I replaced with a canton and it looks ten times better than the stock tank. Not sure if spraying this with a rubber epoxy would help at all because i dont think it would grow with the tank expanding like it did.
I dont have one in my hands we are making more right now.
Our tank is the exact size of the paxton tank
So is this tank pretty much guaranteed to warp and anyone considering this should add the cost of a JPC?
