Another option, Delete the upper lights and put some in the bumper like the gt500 or Roush lights. Or just tint them as stated, that would probably be the easiest!

nope not HIDs but i think the previous owner put much brighter lights in. ill see if i can find a pic

Turn them on, walk down the street 50 feet and see what you think. If they are too bright then figure something out, if not then don't worry about it.

I think you guys are just taking it too serious lol. It's really not a big deal, I usually don't stare at the lights if they're bright. Seems to work

Does nobody remember the damn drivers Ed book? Or if your my age the driving class? They taught you not to stare at lights but to look at the edge of the road! Works every time for me and lights really fuck with my eyes

THIS^....they are 100% adjustable, remove the radiator cover and you will see the adjustable screw.

this is a aftermarket bulb but best pic i could find, that big shiny screw will adjust the angle of the beam

EDIT:added factory lights in factory grille pic
Grille%20Fog%20Mustang%20Clear%20V6a.jpg

Well I'll be damned! I've had the grille of probably 5 or 6 times since I bought the car and never noticed that. Thats the first thing I'm gonna do. But the beam pattern is so wide I don't know if that will actually make much of a difference.

The factory grill lights on the GT are fog lights, wide beam that is shorter in length forward than the headlights. They are not driving lights which would be a narrow, longer beam than headlights. (PIAA makes a driving light conversion)

Wow, that might be perfect. I'm going to have to look into this

I'm with you, I'm not interested in why its a crime against humanity to put HIDs into a stock housing, or headlight etiquette. I just want to be able to see where I'm going and not blind people -especially cop people.

That would be like having 2 sets of headlights, wouldn't it?

Sent from my helicopter

Probably. One of the few things I know as far as the DOT is concerned, you're only allowed to have 4 lights lit at any given time. High beams count as two each, which is why the fog lights turn off when you hit your brights
