I see... Another reason why I am leary of a centri is because a friend of mine put a paxton on his 2010 GT. I know the 4.6L and 5.0L make power at different levels but on the 4.6 it felt like the car was only in boost very little time before he had to shift. Felt like a turd until around 4000 rpms...

No need to worry about power down low. These cars make plenty of torque with a centri, even in the lower rpms. Full throttle in 2nd gear at any rpm results in wheel spin like you dumped the clutch at 5000rpm.

Pretty much. With the gearing these trannies have, and then if you add a stall for an auto, or are a manual dropped down a gear or two your own.

How's my 3.15 rear and stock converter going to like a 3.6 pulley on a 25 Inch tall Hoosier drag radial?

Would it be better off on a taller one?

will it mph higher with a taller tire?

They are Hoosier 315/30/18's

Thinking about the NT05R 305/45/18's

Or would it hurt me?

Congrats man, have fun with it. The power is totally different. I can't wait for the weather to get nice.

I forgot about him. But ya March 25th 2011. He is only one had any luck with the whipple 2.3. I ran into one back in tx that couldn't break into the 10's. The KB is even worse.

There is no doubt the Paxton makes more power n has a ridiculous ceiling n the fact I wish to hell I started with the 2.9 but last time I was at atco there was at least three 2.3 10sec stock block coyotes.
