Just got home from this spring's event. This car continues to do things that I just don't think it should be capable of. Couldn't possibly be happier with it.

Engine combo is:

Boss 302 engine
Headers
2013 CJ intake
Airaid with a dfferent coupler on the TB end to fit the CJ.

Car is an automatic. 3.31 gear which is now too much, it shifts into 5th with 1/8th mile to go, needs to go back to a 3.15. Or, find some way to get the automatic trans processor to allow more than 7700 RPM. That would be preferable, this engine does not want to stop there at all.

There were many examples of Corvettes, ZL-1s, and GT500s that couldn't run with this car.

Yeah 171.5 on the morning money shot last spring. Every pass this weekend topped that. Not a whole lot of difference that should matter:

Switched out the 1 7/8" headers to 1 3/4" - 1 7/8" stepped
The CJ intake/Airaid

I did some front suspension work the other day but that is only going to matter on the 1/4 mile. New converter does nothing for it on the mile either, and the CJ trigger wheel did nothing for it, still stuck at 7700 even though I can get 7900 out of wbt's car with that.

Pretty anxious to drag race it again now, maybe it picked up quite a bit.

What does your car weigh?

With this wheel/tire combo it should be around 3650 with driver.

That is really amazing. Good job man. And thank you for reinforcing that white is the fastest, most kick ass color.

I'm kinda surprised they don't also give eighth and quarter mile speeds.

I would love to do the mile! To bad the 4r70w isnt reall the best setup for that kind of racing. I could think of nothing better then 1000 rwhp and 200+ mph. :thumb2:

Not really a need and is an added expense/maintenance for the promoters. A full mile run at those speeds doesn't take long. They do have MPH boards setup along the length of the mile for spectators to see.

It is a well run event. :thumb2:
