I drove it around the block today. The triple disc unsprung clutch can't be slipped. The only way to leave from a stop is to slip the tires until you get up to about 20 MPH. 20 MPH is where the engine idles. I don't think that I will be driving this much on the street.

How much fun was it to drive?

It was cool. Lot's of looks from people, most of them not pleased. It's really really loud. I was trying to take it easy but blew the tires off leaving from a stop and touched the 8000 RPM rev limiter.

That's awesome. Would it be easier to drive on the street with a different clutch? Idling at 1800 is kind of high for a street car though.

I didn't realize it was still "street legal" haha. Did you get it on the dyno today?

Tuning right now. I'm doing the tuning pulls in 3rd so I can keep the tire speed below 200 mph. The A/F is very close and very flat for a carb. Once I get the A/F where I want it, I will play with the timing. According to Tex Racing and G Force, this straight cut geared trans has a 20% loss in 4th and a 22-24% loss in the third gear. Shifting clutchless on the dyno is badass. Turning the engine to 8400 and the last pull it made 653whp which is 837 at the crank with a 22% loss and the engine oil temp on the cold side.

I will have a video shortly.
