Agreed. Chrome tends to get too busy for me, especially when there's rivets or lots of small spokes, etc.

Just ordered some Pype Bombs for the new 5.0. The fiance' listened to some sound clips of what I originally wanted for A/B's, Roush, and said "It sounds good, but doesn't sound very loud. I think we can go louder." OK then! I'm not sure how the tone will be, but for $300 it's worth the risk. If they suck they'll land here in the classifieds, lol.

Well I need a new cop. Thinking about just getting the Accel ones. I know the stock are supposedly best but they cost a ton. I'll just have 7 backup stock ones.

Rock Auto sells the COP's as well for a lot cheaper. I would not put the aftermarket COPS on, you read about too many issues with them.

Got engine cover, 5.0 badges, coil covers, a pillars, map light assembly, interior window covers, both front carpets and the trunk rug from a body shop by my house.
Decided to see how painted coil covers would look.

Dang it. My parts guy can't even find the foams in the computer. Not sure about the skins. I was looking at getting some GT500 take offs on eBay, but don't want the embossed snake. Then $350+ 10% and tax for the grille. I'm SO pissed I sold mine.

He's interested in the car since he said he doesn't like the powerband of the Boss. The TVS won't be included but he said he would pay for that separately if we do the transaction.

I'm interested in the Boss since it would be pretty cool and I'd probably throw a Paxton kit on it. I still want to keep the Bullitt, but I think that if I'm tossing any Mustang up as an option then I'm not as attached as I thought.
