We gonna find out. It coming apart. Half the blower kit is off now and I'll be pulling the motor in the next few weeks.

It's happening. Any recommendations on what rotating assembly? Somebody recommended the Livernois kit http://www.livernoismotorsports.com...rged-Piston{47}-H%2dBeam-Rod-Combination.html

Also going to do billet oil pump gears. Gonna have the heads checked out as well for sure.

Yep, I'm going to go for the NGK next time for sure. Going to think about a different tuner as well.

I would wait until you got it apart before I ordered a rotating assembly. Not to be a Debbie downer but there could be a hair line crack in the typical #8 cylinder spot.

block I bet will be fine, and I bet you will be able to get away with a std bore piston, Your head will be fine also, if it was hurt than you would know it (piston to valve contct or knocking will occur).

I would agree, but I'm thinking that if I have the heads of and cams out I will do the blower cams. If I'm going to go through all that I might as well have someone go through the heads.

Nope..just build. For basically same orice can build stronger. Cheapest I found boss short block is about 2900. Thrn you have to install

I was told about 6500-7000 for parts labor to do built short block.

That seems a bit expensive on the labor side of things. Is that labor of them pulling motor, building and re-installing?

I was going to pull the motor, disassemble, have a machine shop prep block and balance assembly.

What about just buying an Aluminator then? It's only a little more and comes complete. Labor is just simply pulling/reinstalling the motor and all the other crap.
