is held on with double sided tape. use a flat head screw driver and a rag under the flat head so not to hurt the paint and just move around the edges till you get it up and then pull it off

as you can see in the pic there is a ring left from the tape, there was a smaller hole to use to line up the emblem (i filled it in)

Screwdriver

If you still want to take it off, I recommend a hair dryer and some fishing line. Heat up the badge (any badge) and slip the line underneath and work it back and forth with a pressure angle on the badge. The string may break a few times, but it will take it off with no marks. If I did it with a screw driver, I would surely mess it up! :2cents:

If !! you remove the badge and the key hole....

Or if you left the keyhole...

I used the fishing line as well, it cuts through the foam/glue that's holding it on. Then some goof-off to clean it up. I would never use a screwdriver, you don't want to pry or wedge it off.

Yes it works on all badges. :thumb2:

This tape behind the badge took me like 30-40 minutes to get off what a pain, I used bug and tar remover the wifes blow dryer (no heat gun)

what did you use to fill the holes

I didnt thats a textured plastic piece that goes on with 3m tape.

Yeah, it has a really clean look giving it the appearance of it being painted. but to cover the holes completely with no badge or something else over it, you will need body work and complete repainting of the decklid unless you're body shop guy can do it well and the paint on the rest of the car hasn't been weathered much or at all for that matter.
