Turbos are fun and all but if i was to do it over again i would have gone with a procharger or something similar instead..And i still may in the future.

Got lazy posting...but finally installed my Doablosport tuner and C&L cold air intake.... F### what a difference!

Finally installed my DOB 200a alternator (stripped a bolt last weekend). I've been getting that damn "check charging system" message for the past two months. Now I just need to upgrade the positive battery cables (did the negative last weekend).

There is a threaded hole under the carpet by the back side of the box, in between the box and tail light cover that is perfect for the ground cable to bolt down to, just clean off the paint around it. I connected the engine side ground to the factory spot on the strut tower until I do the main tuck job. The pos I ran along the harness that runs from the trunk, by the passenger door sill and thru the big grommet in the firewall behind the inner fender. There is a nub that sticks out of the big grommet that is perfect size for the cable, just use a razor to cut the nub off. I also used a 250amp mega fuse coming out of the battery box. The car starts fine and I checked the voltage on my aeroforce gauge and directly at the battery and there was only .10v difference when running so it seems to be charging fine.

Put the street wheels and tires back on it today, cleaned off the burnout rubber (the Mothers R2 is GREAT stuff by the way if you can find it), cleaned up the Race Stars and put the tires and wheels away. Then decided to driver over to the car wash and clean it up the rest of the way - got half way back home and it started to rain and now it is snowing. Mustang is safe in the garage, all wiped down though.

What kind of louvers did you have on? I'm considering taking mine off, but I'm afraid I would never be able to get the hard water marks off the window/paint underneath.
