Wow... that is not even close at all lol. But will definitely look amazing once you get it fitted.

I'm confident it will look great after the body shop works on it a lot more.

That top looks way off. Have you contacted the company you got it from?

Yep, myself and the body shop have tried calling. We've been through so much shit with these guys beginning in June, and it's just a lost cause. I would have a very hard time recommending this product as the pictures speak for me.

There is suppose to be a gap in the rear, as the molding locks down on the lining around the convertible top and then that seals the water out, just not that huge. The gap is good because who wants the top rubbing against the paint after body movement/shifting. We are having a problem with the top locking down and lining up against the windshield frame and then at the same time locking around the molding on the convertible top. Most likely going to have to fab it to fit. They've already had to add fiberglass to the top to even out certain things. From the looks of it, they molded the top, sprayed a bunch of primer on it and then boxed it up with no QC.

you have no idea. I'm about to bash it with a hammer.

If ya do, make sure to record it... looks like an expensive mistake. Im feel your pain, hope they can make it fit.

Is there a disclaimer about major fabrication required?

I think you're going to spend most of today on the phone :)

You have no idea, after I got off the phone with you I continued down my daily notepad of the "cam's call list" including the GT500 engine that seems to be taking its time to get here. Friday is sucking right now.

HOLY SHIT Cam, that's not even close. Does the Bodyshop think that there is any hope of making it work?

Damn sucks your having bad luck with it Cam

I knew I was going to have to fab the top/cut it to fit around my GT bar. That was not a problem. I did not realize they did such a shitty job prepping this thing that if I was to go to John doe's body shop and I didn't know any better, I would have ended up with a piece of shit canopy top. Hell, an original soft top in a Jeep CJ has better fit and finish than this crap.

I am 100% confident that the shop will make it look as perfect as possible by adding fiberglass and re-sculpting parts that are just too messed up. They have always done an incredible job and I know they will do their best. They are very excited to create the finished product, the right way. As far as the expense...
