Anyone else hate stock cars?

I searched high and low for a bone stock LX 5.0. Finally found one, got in touch with the owner and checked it out. Made the deal, went back the next day to pay him and drive it home.

Parked my new car in the garage for the first time, walked inside and sat down at the PC, and ordered my Vortech!

I'm about as stock as you can get - shifter, CAI and tune. Had it for over three years - about one mod per year. Though one of these days - I swear it - I'm going to do something with the suspension.

Dude, that's nothing. Just entry level. A good blower setup, tune and DR's and you spent that.

I spent $12,200 so far and I am still NA! LOL

Now, now kids.....nothing wrong with a stock car. I won a championship with stock (rental) cars.

Butch was stock for ten months before anything happened. Hell....I had that car for one week and won the FFW Baytown race with paper tags still on the damn thing!!! And then.......welcome to......The Turbo Zone. Twins, converter, rear suspension, roll bar, harness, drag radials.........holy shit, dude. Oh yeah....almost forgot: one more championship.

Granted, I love that car and the twins. But right now I'm kinda wishing I had another stock car to run around in. I'm convinced that when you decide to modify your Mustang the very first mod you should buy is.................

I had a 70 R code 428 CJ Mach 1 with 65,000 original miles, numbers matching, yada yada. Completely stock. I had to sell it because I couldn't do anything to it without hurting its value. I can't have a car stock unless it's my daily driver. I don't do anything to it except regular maintenance.
