Looking good. Do you have a date you'd like it finished by?

Yeah, yesterday. :) Once it's running again it has to go back to painter to get front bumper painted, interior installed, and buffed. So looking to have turbo kit done in a week or two and then going to pull it off to be coated. When turbo kit is getting coated the paint work will be finished. Hopefully should have it at the track by end of April.

Sounds good man. I can't wait for final pics and videos at the track.

Well the picture above is unfortunately still the case. Car has been sitting with no progress over a year and I decided to finish the car myself. Next month will be 4 years that I have been waiting on the car to be complete. It has been neglected and in horrible shape. Not just the motor and turbo kit but the whole car. Turbo kit isn't near complete and paint job looks like a 10 year old car again. I have thought about selling car but buyer basically wanted me to give it to when he saw the condition of it.

I had to take a step back and reevaluate what I wanted and how much money I am willing to spend. So new plan is to just about start over with it and do it like I want. So I am ordering parts and looking to get it running within a month or two. I will post some pictures later.

Here is what over $4,000 in welding and fabbing off the turbo kit has gotten me.

Drivers side v-band on header sitting on frame rail

Drivers side header that needed to be cut and moved closer to the motor due to it not fitting. I was told this was complete as in finish welded 6+ months ago. Well the spot welds have broken and it has slipped out the mounting flange.

This is the passenger side down pipe where it runs through the k-member. This was also complete as in finish welded 6+ months ago. It was only held on by a bracket that was bolted to the side of the motor.

This is the drivers side down pipe that was 75% finish welded. Still was told 6+ months ago this was 100% complete. It hits on the steering rack mounting bracket, oil pan, and frame.

Here is what happened to a $993 custom radiator that I had to buy to make the turbo kit work. It has a busted core from something being dropped on it or dropping it on something. Best part is it will not fit where it has to go due to the upper hose connection hitting the exhaust housing on the drivers side.

The exhaust going to the rear of the car was just hanging on by the exhaust hangers after they also broke the spot welds. I do not have pictures of the dash, center console, and other parts that are dirty, deformed from stuff being thrown on them, and scratched up. I am offshore for a couple weeks and will get more pictures when I get back and start really getting it going.

I also will have to get some pictures of the intercooler. That thing is a disaster and I may have to scrap it and get another one.
