Got a good friend of mine who is taking LCA brackets and modifying them for infinite adjustability. This pair started life as a set of BMR lca relo brackets. Going to install them on my car soon. With more power on tap and a new combo I hope to see some 1.3x 60's in a 3800 lb s197![]()
Nice! I wanted the ability to have the pivot closer to the stock location, all these brackets just drop it so far and put a ton of anti-squat in, more than I want to see. This can be addressed in the same manner.
Now I want the same on the front mount for the upper.
Correct, if you do not lower the car.
These cars work VERY well lowered, with off the shelf suspension pieces. I can't even count how many 1.2 sixty foot times are produced with good ole off the shelf LCA brackets, on lowered cars.
When JPC went 1.19, their LCA was mounted 3" lower than the OEM pivot point (BMR brackets in the middle position)
On a stockish height car, with a monster tire....personally, I wouldn't even mess with the LCA angle.
I do like the design, though, a lot.
Very trick design, too many adjustments for me though I would never stop playing with that shit. lol
That's not infinitely adjustable....
It's 13 way adjustable....
Whew. Got lucky as hell. Bought this kit wanting the L brackets, and would probably have to hack the mounts all to hell if I could even get them to work. Should be able to just angle them how I want them and weld in. I'll just record my angles and locations and do it when I take the rear end down. I'll do thaat and the ARB tomorrow. Late night this morning. Going to go home early... at 730 ARB weighted in at just under 15 lbs

Got the shock mounts, anti roll bar ears and bracing done. Added a few pounds, but shouldn't hurt. Should keep her from flexing forward. Also mounted under the coil spring perches for strength. Not sure how much pressure actually gets applied there, but let it try now HA. This thing better hold up. If it doesn't I'm going to be PISSED.

Being the forward thinker (HA), If I keep the car I'm going to do something stupid. If not the next owner won't have to drop, drain and air out the tank. I already did figuring I would have to mod it for the upper control arm mount. So I did a -12 feed into the stock baffling, and the return on the same side of the tank. This way all the fuel will be pumped into this side of the tank. Got to be a single pump. I just can't do three under WOT with a good conscience. Not sure 3 pumps would be enough of E85

Actually 26 way if you feel like you need more traction on your passenger side tire than you do on your driver side![]()
