Got a good friend of mine who is taking LCA brackets and modifying them for infinite adjustability. This pair started life as a set of BMR lca relo brackets. Going to install them on my car soon. With more power on tap and a new combo I hope to see some 1.3x 60's in a 3800 lb s197 :boobies:

This is what I wish BMR sold for their relocation brackets! Only thing I'd change is I would change the hole for adjustment to an arc that the LCA's move in so as not to mess with the wheel base and thrust angle.

Looks great Ed!

We considered this back in 04/05....but, as I've told people who have inquired.....The amount of tech it would require is unreal. Already, probably 20% of my calls are asking what hole is best....of the 3 available. We sell too many of these things to make them like this, or else we would.

Nice! I wanted the ability to have the pivot closer to the stock location, all these brackets just drop it so far and put a ton of anti-squat in, more than I want to see. This can be addressed in the same manner.

Now I want the same on the front mount for the upper.

Correct, if you do not lower the car.

These cars work VERY well lowered, with off the shelf suspension pieces. I can't even count how many 1.2 sixty foot times are produced with good ole off the shelf LCA brackets, on lowered cars.

When JPC went 1.19, their LCA was mounted 3" lower than the OEM pivot point (BMR brackets in the middle position)

On a stockish height car, with a monster tire....personally, I wouldn't even mess with the LCA angle.

I do like the design, though, a lot.

When going NHRA racing I have to start looking at things closer, like down to the thousandth of a second. I'll need the fine tuning ability all these adjustment choices provide, as I'll be competing with cars like other NA coyotes that have already made 9 second passes weighing 3500 lbs. To compete with the big boys, every component on the car simply must be the best you can buy or make. After previously taking detailed measurements and inputting everything into a 4 link calculator, my best interpretation of what I saw was that the lower needed to drop about an inch. Video of the car looked like the needed adjustment was fairly small too. The normal 8.8 housing would interfere with that, but this 9" does not. Interestingly it looks like an inch is around what the CJ suspension does by default. I didn't buy that, I thought instead I could get a combination of parts together that was better. Just one example is I don't want those bushings they have, I have bearings. Obviously I'll have to weigh/measure all over again since about every component other than the car body and suspension is changing to something else. It would be nice if the CG moved rearward. I don't think the changes to the car are going to have a lot of effect on that, but if it works out light enough, the ballast will take care of that.

Actually 26 way if you feel like you need more traction on your passenger side tire than you do on your driver side :p

Dustin didn't post what I was thinking of here, it's on SVTP, but here's what he did up:

Whew. Got lucky as hell. Bought this kit wanting the L brackets, and would probably have to hack the mounts all to hell if I could even get them to work. Should be able to just angle them how I want them and weld in. I'll just record my angles and locations and do it when I take the rear end down. I'll do thaat and the ARB tomorrow. Late night this morning. Going to go home early... at 730 ARB weighted in at just under 15 lbs

Got the shock mounts, anti roll bar ears and bracing done. Added a few pounds, but shouldn't hurt. Should keep her from flexing forward. Also mounted under the coil spring perches for strength. Not sure how much pressure actually gets applied there, but let it try now HA. This thing better hold up. If it doesn't I'm going to be PISSED.

Being the forward thinker (HA), If I keep the car I'm going to do something stupid. If not the next owner won't have to drop, drain and air out the tank. I already did figuring I would have to mod it for the upper control arm mount. So I did a -12 feed into the stock baffling, and the return on the same side of the tank. This way all the fuel will be pumped into this side of the tank. Got to be a single pump. I just can't do three under WOT with a good conscience. Not sure 3 pumps would be enough of E85
