A local shop has told me that some of their customers pass the emissions without cats when running e85.

I just read that if the car was tuned back to stock then it would trigger codes with the mods that are installed. After what mikes06gt said I'm ordering my tune today and i'll put it in before I drive it out the shop. That may explain some things. If the previous owner did want to keep his tuner then he would have had to return the car to stock to unlock it. fingers crossed this helps...

Ok... So I installed the new tune from BAMA and drove the car around the neighborhood, did some mixed driving slow in traffic and got on it when I could. The car felt like it didn't have much power and on my return trip to the house the little wrench light came on. I barely got the car off the road and here I sit, in a school parking lot contemplating how bad I'm screwed right now. I turned the car off and back on and the light goes out but it doesn't feel right. This last time I turned it on there was a strange knocking sound coming from the dash!?! What the hell could that be? I'm going to attempt to make it home I'm 6 blocks away.

I'm running over to autozone and grabbing some cleaner, and maybe some new plugs. What do you think the knocking was? It also knocked a couple times when I turned the AC on recirculate.

Check the MAF and plug for wiring make sure there isn't any broken wires and the plug is secure and has good contacts. The code you supplied is for the MAF

No, no smoke just barely moving. Car drove ok getting home. Autozone is out of stock of the cleaner, I'll check a couple other places tomorrow. I'm gonna drown my sorrows in Coors light and fireball and knock out some goggle research on the MAF sensor. I've wanted a GT for so long and now that I got one, turns out it's a expensive paper weight, pretty down right now
