ITS ALIVE!!!:highfive:

I ran it a coupled times keeping the rpms up to heat the head gaskets. I will let it cool for 30 minutes now and then add water and run it up to full operating temp. Then next Saturday run it to temp again and wait 6 hrs to retorque the heads backing the nuts off one at a time 1 full turn then back to 100 ft lbs.

Billy I'm getting quite tired of saying that your car is badass man. You rarely see a car that looks that good and clean in the engine bay and still rips ass. Congrats and good luck.

I tested the E85 in the tank before cranking it, looks like e89 to me!

Here is the next thing to do after I have the tune started again and I know the car is running well enough to do some big pulls. The Strange brakes I have are way to sensitive for the power brake setup. Time to go manual brakes. I talked to Strange and they recommended the larger of the two.

Here is the one I bought.

Here is the other one I was looking at, that was not recommended for my setup.

Your tags are out and your blower is annoying.

Because of the copper head gaskets. Last time I did not heat cycle them well enough and they didn't seal. Knowing what I know now I may have been able to just change the oil and re torqued the heads and been fine. It may have taken a couple of oil changes to clean it up though. Last time I only ran it for a short time till it was warm to the touch. This time it will seal or I will pull the heads, remove the SS rings and go back to stock head gaskets. I will just fill the grooves and move on.

Any certain event that you have picked out to run yet as long as the break in goes right? You already know that we'll be bringing two decently quick 5.0s to play (would have been 3 but seems Larry is still a bit out on his fox). My build as well as Grn13 might not have a 81+ page thread about it, but we both have a built motor now from Blake Holcomb so things should get good.

I already rock the "Paxton 5.0 > Twin Turbo 5.0" decal on the car so I will just add 05stroker under the twin turbo portion and keep up a current kill list.

I bet you are excited to finally see it coming back together and getting to hear it though. You should have a great 2015 with the new tow rig and trailer setup.

Car should be lighter and make a little more power, yeah? Might be interesting
