I didn't reuse them. They just crushed themselves stuck on the banjo bolt. Took some pliers and cursing to get them off.

Ok. So after wedging myself in Mark's cobra Suzuka seat I've decided my next modification should be a seat. I'm looking at the sparco evo3 as on paper it's the most fatboy friendly offering available. Has anyone actually mounted one up in a s197? What mount/track set up did you use? How was the helmet to roof clearance effected?

Yep, those buggers really get stuck on the banjos. The Vorshlag kit comes with new washers which is nice since you tear up the old ones getting them off.

Project update. This past weekend I entered our first texas region scca autocross event of the year. I ran in cam-c with 4 other mustangs and 1 camaro. Had a blast and congrats to Jon( I am legend) on taking the win. I got progressively quicker each run and with the bilsteins and camber plates the car just felt easier to drive. I'm satisfied for the time being with the suspension setup on my car. Now I just need tons more seat time and some real performance tires instead of these no grip nitto 555's. If only vorshlag sold driving lessons too lol. Terry and Mark, yall need to do some ride alongs with me soon.

We had the NASA-X this weekend at Memphis, and I was bouncing the rumble curbs in the M's. So fun . Each run I felt that I could push harder, but was afraid to since a couple of spots had puddles of water.

I'll have to upload a run sometime tonight. Damn GoPro decided to reset its resolution to 1440 instead of 4k Superview :/.

Well for opening weekend at both main local Autocross clubs (SCCA vs. NASA), 47 for the NASA event (record for the local chapter), and about 8 for the SCCA. A mix of the local politics with the SCCA club and the classing has dropped the SCCA crowd quite a bit. However, I tend to have more fun with the NASA classes.

That's crazy. We had 151 or so entries on Sunday. It was a long day to say the least.

We had about 160 for the local charity autocross, and that is where the local Porsche, BMW, NASA, and SCCA all pitch in together to help out. We also had people from Louisiana, Alabama, Illinois, etc. show up then. During normal season, the furthest members out are usually from Missouri or Arkansas. Every once in a while, a member will have a friend come visit from out of town that is part of a club in another region.
