Did you have a chance to get the moroso valve covers polished up so they could go on?

Doing work for sure Billy. To hell with the Copper all ready, back to getting this car making passes!
Yes, passes...

No, I decided to order some new upper pipes for my Procherger HO kit and have them and the Moroso valve covers coated with polished ceramic to match the JPC intake and headers. The guy I use now does amazing work and my intake pipes look like shit after the last trip to Polydn in Houston TX. There quality has gone down hill big time and they will never see my business again.

Well all my hard work may have been for nothing. I get a call from my parts guy telling me he has bad news, the right side Ford overbore head gasket is on back order till 4-14-15!

I posted this in the WTB section if anyone can help.

Part number 4R3Z-6051-DA it is an overbore ford gasket. They are on National back order till 4-14-15 and I need it now. I have one coming from Tousley Ford as they had the only one available in the country, but it will not be here till the end of next week I would assume from Minnesota. I don't know what the hell I was thinking not having them two day it but with the weather lately it seems nothing can move fast anyhow.

Does anyone have one that is within 5 hrs from 75757 Bullard TX or even have one period?

Just watch the part number as it has to be the overbore gasket. My pistons will hit a std bore gasket.

So your pistons travel above the deck now with the higher compression? I'm using the OEM size but my pistons don't go above the deck.

You can use 94mm on there (Cometic do not sell smaller than that) and choose thickness.

Now, how sure is you can't use 92mm there?

FRPP sells these cometics in M-6067-3V50, 0.030 thickness (IIRC).

I feel like an idiot! I just measured my new left hand gasket and the old copper gasket and they are 92mm. That means the std Ford gasket is smaller then that and I could use any 92mm gasket as that is 3.62. So that means the Ford Racing gaskets would work.

EDIT the Ford Racing set is 90.2mm

Billy, that is size of the cylinder bore, not the gasket bore.
On Summit the FRPP kit shows to be 90.2 or 3.551 and the Felpro are 92 mm like the Ford overbore gaskets I have coming. Oh well even if I ordered today they would not ship till Monday and it would be Wednesday before they got here.
