Hello gang,

Terry, No-Cancer ...

Terry buddy your good to go as you have nothing at all wrong and certainly nothing at all to do with Prostate Cancer.

Terry

Good news! That leaves more chemo and Neulasta for the rest of us.

One thing I've learned (on top of decades of conscious positive attitude input to the sub-conscious mind), is you also have to block negatives - which unfortunately often comes from medical staff's careless statements.

:stfu: :321: :sitonitandrotate: :flip2:
Then you have to battle those thoughts for days.

Don't go into those check-ups with fear and anxiety.

Go into those check-ups with faith and prayer and confidence and attitude like a warrior!
EXPECT TO WIN!!

Here is the latest up-date on things with the 2008 Bullitt Mustang ...

Time for an Up-Date,

Just for those of you that follow this Bullitt Mustang
here is what is happening.

1st thing is Brent (BRENSPEED) is waiting on Comp Cams
for those Custom Parts to be completed.
Until they arrive the Bullitt is sitting covered-up.

Do you all recall when my Bullitt was converted from
the 5-speed manual to the
TCI Super Street-Fighter tranny ???
That was way back in 2011.
So after all the years that have now gone by
with drag-racing it and driving it on the street.
It is being pulled and shipped back to TCI
for a complete "Re-Furbishing/Re-Build".

Here are some pics of it being installed way
back in 2011.

Chandler & George

George did the actual conversion in 2011.

The Custom Circle-D Billet Converter.

Here it is going into place.

The really DEEP extended trans pan.
Doubles the capacity.

Yes I was there for the conversion.

And of course there was a Cutie for a picture.

What is being done for the transmission rebuild? Is it being done to handle the extra power that the car now makes? I cant imagine you have put enough miles on it that it is worn out?

Damn Terry, I swear that car has spent more time at Brenspeed then in your garage.
Earl,
Well I will say your right in that it has and does spend a great deal of time at Brenspeed over the last 6-plus yrs.
I also will add this, I'm very-very anal when it comes to my Mustang.
I want things just a certain way and sometimes that just takes a lot of time.
Brenspeed does do a lot of the hands-on but in many cases there are 3rd party vendors involved.
And in some cases those 3rd party vendors have to fabricate custom parts for Brenspeed for my Mustang.
And lastly I ask Brent for certain exacting things and results.
My expectations are sometimes not the easiest to achieve.
So, your right it has and does spend a lot of time at Brenspeed but more often than not it's because of what I ask Brent to do.
Many-many times it is simply being stored waiting on those 3rd party vendors as it is right now.
Luckily for me I am willing to not get all torn-up and overly excited when it takes time to complete what I have asked for.

BTW, I never tire of seeing your Avatar Pic of your Twin-Turbo Engine. :hi:

Justin,
I appreciate the compliment buddy.
There are a lot of things being done this last time and some of them take a great deal of time.
When there is something worth posting I'll do it.

I guess I could say a lot more about what is taking place but I much prefer to wait until things are completed.

should be a good 2015
Dave,
I think 2015 is going to be great !!!

Terry following for the exciting changes in 2015. Good luck!
Scott,
Thanks and I will keep the few of you that are interested up to speed as things are completed.

Nick,
Regarding the TCI SSF (Super Street Fighter).
Brent has contacted his guy at TCI and is handling things.
What I know is that Brent has told his contact at TCI to completely go through my TCI SSF and replace anything and everything that even remotely looks like it has worn.
Brent did ask for an Up-Date on the Power handling of the TCI SSF now.
850-900 was the answer to power handling.

BTW, the TCI SSF will not go back to TCI until Brent has completed the tuning.

I cant imagine you have put enough miles on it that it is worn out?
This is probably going to actually surprise you and other people.
Below is the total mileage on the 08 Bullitt Mustang when it was dropped off at Brenspeed this last time.
Granted all those miles was not with the TCI SSF but a heck of a lot of them were.

Notice the MPG it got driving those 504.6 miles from Brenspeed to my home.
That was in stop & go traffic as well as interstate cruising.
Be interesting to see what it will do this time when I get it back.

Terry, it looks great. What rear spring weight did you go with?

Earl,

Thanks :thumb2:

I'm pretty sure we will have the same for the UPR rear coil over springs.

I went with the one's you said you are running.

Very nice Terry, looks like it spun on the dyno a little bit which is a nice sign of making some good power.

Congrats on the numbers!!!!!

Larry,

It looked the same to me on the dyno.
The M/T Street Comp tires just don't hold that kind of power.

Thanks for dropping by. :thumb2:

I'm curious. Who on this site asked you to calculate the flywheel HP on your car?
