Nice jack for getting the car up to put stands under it, but no way in hell would I get underneath without stands using that jack.

I wedged a bar in the crank to stop it from turning.

I put mine in forth gear and applied the parking brake, use a long ratchet or breaker bar. My car tried to roll a little bit but came loose no problem.

Rent a pulley puller kit from your local auto parts store.
Go rent "THE CLAW"

What the hell does a pulley removal tool have to do with getting the crank bolt out?

Pretty much what I was going to suggest as well. Put it in gear, double hand full of park brake, and a breaker bar with a big ass cheater bar.

Zackly...The innovators west pulley doesn't need a puller either. it has bolts built in that you use to jack screw it off.

Im not sure on a standard car but on mine I use a bar through the hole in the block to access the TC bolts on the flexplate . Do you guys have holes on the back of the flywheels ?

I do the same except put it in 5th. The highest gear will give you the best holding power.
