You guys are making it tough to hold on to my 3V, sweet ride!
Thanks buddy! I definitely understand about the 3v. I held out as long as I could but finally decided it was time to move on to the Coyote.

I been eyeballing GT350 but I dunno, markup is probably ridiculous

Saw a salesman on FB stating their dealer is marking up $7,500.

That's it?

Ours will probably be 20-30k...sucks to be like that but the owners know they have more allocations than anyone close to us and know people will come in and pay it. Took a phone call yesterday from a guy who is willing to give non refundable deposit down for one if he can pay 9900 over but I don't think I'll get it approved.

 nuts!!

i think it means the car is marked up to $54k, not by $54k. that's a pretty janky addendum

That's a deal.

Yea its a deal for someone.... and it aint the customer. Thats something Ive never understood. People will pay an extra 5-20k over sticker just to have the first of something. Retarded. It blows my mind to even fathom paying over sticker for a car. Whats worse is the fact that once they pay that the money is gone. Its not like they will turn around and sell it for what they paid. I bet most will be lucky to get the sticker price out of them once they get ready to sell. But I aint paying for it so I can still sleep knowing that someone is getting screwed.

Depends on the car really, if the GT350R is very rare you may be ok. Look at the Ford GT, those are selling used for 100K+ over the original MSRP.

The GT500 never really reached that status since they made so many, but values of those are holding very strong. Same with Terminators, many of those are still in the mid 20s even though they are 10+ years old.

For those of you curious about the silver 5-spokes I ordered (see post 10552)...

The wheels are Eurotek U08. They are typically a BMW wheel in a 5x120 bolt pattern and usually sell for about $1000/set. Aspire Motoring acquired extra ones that were non-drilled, so they drilled them to 5x114.3 and they shave the hubs down to achieve a 40mm offset (or something else if you prefer).

I received them today, as well as the tires (Accelera 285/35-19...I had them on my previous car and they are actually decent, cheap, and sized on the small side, perfect fitment on a 9.5 wheel IMO). I'll get the back mounted/balanced from the tire shop tomorrow hopefully. My bathroom scale says the wheels are just under 26lbs.

Here they are on a 3-series:
