Ordered new tires to put on my steeda rims. Once they get here and I mount and balance them I guess it will be time to finally put my gt500 front breaks on.

Got my new tires for the front today. Now I got 255/45s on all corners. Looks fuckin awesome. Think I'll order the white letters now.

Brand? I'm looking for letters too for my Michelin Pilot A/S Plus 3 and the lettering is different sizes front and rear (255 front, 275 rear). Trying to figure out the best way to letter (same size front/rear?)

In April I took my 05 and my 69 to a local car show. On the way home the 05 quit running as if the fuel pump went out or out of fuel. Gauge showed 1/2 tank so I assumed it was the pump. With all that's been going on I haven't been able to check it out until now. So I check the filter, all good. While I have it off I cycle the pump. It runs but no fuel. In bolt the drivers seat and slide forward, remove the rear seat delete panel, access the pump. Pump pump out and shine a light down in the tank and what do I see. Nothing! Absolutely dry tank. I felt stupid. Put it all back together and added a little fuel. Runs perfect. Go to the store and fill up the tank and the fuel gauge goes to full.

Hmm, will have to keep a close eye on fuel usage.

Spoke to Steve at Blowfish Racing today. I asked about their TR-3650/6060 shifter brackets and their compatibility. I wanted one for my 3650, but was hesitant to buy one because I plan to swap to a 6060. Steve told me that both brackets are the same, and the only difference is the actual shifter mount. The clamps are different for the different factory shifters. If you are running an aftermarket shifter (like my MGW) then you can use either kit. I ordered the GT500 kit, since I already have a stock GT500 shifter. I'm hoping that my 2nd gear lockout/grind issues will disappear with this combo. If not, then it is probably an issue with my 155k mile stock trans. Lol

Did your crossover line come unhooked? If the right side of the tank is still full it will read a half tank on the gauge.

Put my old drag radials on the front of the car test-fitting them, I was surprised when they fit perfectly with no spacers needed.
And the freakin' front-end grip !!!!

Why did I do this?
Autocross this Saturday, and the grip from the 275/35/20 555 G2's wasn't what I needed at last event, so I was looking for more.
I think I just found it!

305/40/18 NT555Rs on the front on OEM SVT 18x9.5 wheels
305/35/20 NT555Rs on the rear on Niche Milan 20x10 wheels

Well, no rub against the strut or the fender.
Didn't check elsewhere yet.
Not really doing full-lock turns during autocross, so if I can run these Saturday with no issues, I'll be happy.
Then on Monday they're coming off.
But this got me thinking for sure, lol ...

Haha, yeah, dont really need lock-to-lock. Hope it works for you on the course.

I used 555r's out back with standard 555's up front last time out (road course). The 555's were done after 3 all out laps.

Lol yup, and that's another reason I don't want to run the 555 G2's on the course again.
It's supposed to be about 85 degrees and dry, that's gonna chew them up.
I kinda can't afford that.
