I thought that's what you we're talking about. It was brought up in another thread I was reading so I double checked and called JPC yesterday - to confirm. JPC isn't doing the custom main caps on the Boss block anymore.

Mine is still inching forward. My heads are ported and ready for custom cams. Next year's step will be honing the block and selection of gaskets. I have seen builds that add a second pair of main bolts that seem to make sense. Super slow going but still looking for a nice build.

Any updates on the Cast Iron Boss Block for big HP builds?

thanks
They will make big power. But the main caps aren't the best design so when the power goes up/especially with a lot or RPM the bottom end of the motor can move around a bit/flex.

While making let's say 1000+hp I wouldn't want to rev them past 6500rpm.

So the big question for me is, will it last at 6500 @ 1K RWHP with a stock stroke?

I would try and talk with JPC about it. They were pushing some BOSS blocks hard. Jim on here from JDM would be another guy to talk to.
