I swapped out the factory driveshaft for a shaft from a friend's '12 Roush

Mine had developed a noise in the rear section:

His was nice and solid:

The swap eliminated a clunk I was getting when putting a load on the driveline.
Noise gone, the car actually feels more eager to take off.
Can't wait to drive it again!!

.

Freebees are always a good thing when you actually need it.

Haha you would bring that up! I just don't know what color, I have a habit of touching the walls with sometimes greasy hands.

If you use gloss paint at least you can wash it off.....LOL

Swapped out the junker knock of Chinese license plate LED's that some asshole gave me a few years back. Probably not much more than a lateral move as they were replaced with Pilot brand LED's that I found for like $6.99 each at the local superstore. Will see how bright they are tonight. Passenger side of the knock off's was starting to act up.

Not meant to be perfect, but mostly fresh coat of paint while it's out

Put electrical tape over the puddle lamps in the mirrors. Might be the only person that is just sick and tired of looking at these. The passenger side is perfect. The drivers side is all screwed up so it lights up but it looks really messy. I liken this to GHIG cars. Really cool when you first see it, but after owning it, I think that you would get really tired of it.

For the most part, the lighting on the Mustang is on point. Looking to replace the amber turn lenses in the bumper now and probably go with some tinted rear side lenses as well.

Installed the new LED bulbs with little to no hope that they would be bright or even work correctly. Was wrong. They are very bright, look great, and work perfectly so far. From what I can tell, they are not readily available online except for eBay for some reason. I got mine at a store called Meijer, similar to Wal-Mart but without the trashy people. Groceries to pet stuff to home care to automotive. Oh yeah, definitely a midwest thing.

^ No need for electrical tape. I experienced the exact same thing a year ago. If you look under the mirror, the lights will pop out by releasing a small tab. Just unplug them and pop them back in.

I rolled over 38k a few days ago ... weird to see almost 40k on the clock, when the last 2 years I've been driving it about 3-4k a year ...

I usually put the same 3-4K a year but this year I'm lucky if I put over 2K so far. Just been busy with other things.

Changed out the Fuel Filter. The gas that came out of the unfiltered side, when shaken, looked like ocean city water.
