Two washers , 14" s197 rotors , and stainless steel brake lines ( stock will not fit ) , 2015 mustang GT brake pads. [emoji106]What's it take to put those on the s197 chassis?
They say "brembo" therefore they are. Of course they aren't the 27 piston version from my Shelby.About to put these beauties on....
Yes I know they aren't real brembos. They are s550 brakes

Oh and wheels with proper offset. ( 2015 GT PP wheels are coming )

So I'm not understanding what your saying. Are you saying the wheels won't fit even with 15 PP wheels?I'd like to know how the PP wheels fit with those calipers. I test fit those calipers on my car with the 2015 GT non-Brembo wheels that I'm running now and they would have required probably a 1/2" spacer (at least) to clear them. As is even with the S197 brembos they needed about an 8mm spacer.
How do you think actual braking performance is on them? Do you know of anyone that has done the swap? And did brembo make them , because they have Ford casting numbers on them.Well, I don't know. The 2015+ has a much different hub setup on the front in that the hub sticks out almost 3/4" further (relative to the rotor face) than on the S197. I don't know what the size differences are between the 6 piston Brembos and the base 4 piston calipers, but on my car when I test fit the 19" GT "premium" wheels I have now (which were not offered with the Brembos) with the 4 piston base calipers they would not clear without a large spacer. So that's why I'm curious to see if the Performance Pack wheels will clear without a spacer or not. Those 4 piston calipers are enormous.

I'll let you know when I get mine installedDon't know- all four pistons in the S550 caliper are as as big as or bigger than the larger piston in the S197 Brembo so I'd say it's probably pretty good. I swear I thought there was someone here that had done the swap but I don't really remember. And I think I heard a rumor that Brembo made them but I don't remember for sure. I was looking into this stuff around 2 years ago so I forgot a few things.
