Installed rear Viking Warrior shocks replacing Tokico D-Specs. Wow...what a difference. Not sure if the D-Specs were shot (10+ years old) or if the adjustment on the Vikings is just that good, but it's like driving a different car. Nice and smooth on a soft setting.

Changed out original plug wires on my son's '07 V6 with OEM. What a difference! I suppose it's not uncommon that over time wires age and resistance/performance changes are inevitable. The car runs extremely smooth now and bonus...gas mileage increased slightly. Not a bad investment for $50.

Going to change out coil packs on my '06. Will report changes in behavior (if any).

Ford part#4R3Z-5G221-LH & 4R3Z-5G221-RH FLCA Rear Bushing Heat Shields w\ 6-Ford part#W704873-S439 8mm Self Tapping Screws on the Ford Racing M-3075-E FLCA's (OEM 13-14 GT500) to protect the rear bushings from the heat produced from my Kooks LTH's (or the OEM cats if present). Should help em to last much longer.......

Installed kooks long tubes and off-road H pipe with Borla touring mufflers and BMR k-member. Having some modders remorse with the extra vibrations from k-member. I’m guessing I’ll get used to it after a few miles. Got the original k-member in the garage just in case.

I could probably be talked out of the BMR k-member for a decent price.

The BMR k-member shouldn’t be causing any vibration. Check your exhaust isn’t touching something.

Got them loaded up in a huge 2-car trailer for the ride down to NC.
Won't see them again till Tuesday afternoon when they're scheduled to be delivered at the new house.
And as it's fitting for a car with a LOWMPG license plate, my car has a low fuel light on

Funny that was one of the requirements when I had the Shelby shipped. Fuel had to be below a quarter tank.

I think my wife's Shelby is below a half a tank somewhere, but no low-fuel light on yet.
I totally understand why they'd want low fuel levels. The large World of Wheels car show we participated in also required less than 1/4 tank

Pulled drivers side cam cover and removed Pcv check valve. Hooked up catch cans and blocked off ports to air intake. Took way longer than expected because I had to remove the line lock. No room to work and very time consuming. Got everything back together, but now I have to bleed brakes.

Pulled the Ford OEM 10-14 "Boss 302" STB & reinstalled the Stack Racing V6\GT STB to see how it looks w\ the new IM cover:

Clears the IM cover w\ approx 5\8" clearance so all is well.....Think I'm sold on the looks w\ this new IM cover.
Now to find an appropriate emblem to attach to the center plate.

I swerved to avoid a twirling piece of metal coming through my windshield and killing me. Unfortunately it did clip my A-pillar. Probably not a whole lot I can do to fix this without being super invasive.

That sucks. But it’s better to pay the body shop than the ER.

I'm not getting it fixed. Trying to get the car ready for sale so I don;t want to put much into her to get it done. I'm already losing my shirt on her by selling her. Probably have $25K-$30K into her and will be lucky to get $10K, but I need to buy a motor for my RacecaR.

Swapped the plugs today. And I'm hoping that takes care of the #1 cylinder misfire code that has tripped the last week. Not losing any coolant, no white smoke, no oil burning. But there was a lot of oil around the threads of every plug and at first I was concerned. Then remembered that the oil change place didn't put the dipstick in all the way and that I went to Gingerman and ran the car but didn't notice the oil spraying all over until a couple of weeks later. There was a lot of oil on everything so I think that the oil I saw on the threads was from that and it seeped past the COP boot and has been sitting there ever since - it was pretty clean oil.

The plugs all looked fine, gap was open a little but still near OEM spec. So far it hasn't tripped the code today.

Returned from two days at the drags with the Stang in tact. Spent half of the first day looking for traction and finally found solid 1.5 60s with 10 psi in the slicks. Ran a 11.23 on a 11.20 dial in in the first round and broke out with a 10.97 in the next round. The second day I pulled another 10.97 and a best ever 10.88 @ 126 mph. A couple of 11.0s mixed in and then rained out.
My work on the light is awful but I had a blast and am pleased with the car.:driver:
