Dropped my 14 Shelby off for some love. Took her in for some rock chips around the car and some ceramic coating. Called me up and we decided to go ahead and pull the front bumper for paint, new fog lights and new valance. Also pulled the hood blanket so getting the underside painted. Gonna be pretty after all that <3

True street is doing great, they just opened their new state of the art facility in McKinney over by New Hope Rd. It’s pretty sick!

I think I’m gonna add a couple of 8” subs or 1 10” sub to the shaker 500 system. Not sure yet if I want to replace the entire deck and system. What’s everyone doing for better sound, mostly better bass. The he factory doesn’t sound horrible it’s just missing more punch.

Not *my* mustang (though I paid for it...$35 off FB marketplace) ...
Doing an 18v conversion with a speed controller
analog gas/brake pedals, LEDs, and heatsinks with cooling fans on the stock motors

Fingers crossed the OG motors will last a week. I spent enough as it is so far

Took my Scarlett to meet some other cars in Cyprus, including one S560 and three S650s (one GT & two Dark Horses).

I was surprised at how quiet the exhaust on both of these cars sounded even with the valves open.

Plus a Cararo SS 1LE

Plus an LS swapped Mercedes:

Not being the least bit biased ;) but the best sounding V8 IMO was mine! I gave it a few revs to 6500rpm to please the crowd. :D
Some other interesting cars:

A land barge aka Lincoln Town Car that came with two couches, a TV, and enough trunk space to accommodate a lot of dead bodies!

Porsche Taycans

There was also four MacLarens
IMG_20250907_145301.jpgOne Lambo, plus a lot of modified Japanese cars & BMWs.

Dino, did you get more pictures of that Continental? I'm trying to figure out the year.

Probably. Lincoln didn't make sudden changes often. Everything was done in a way to not attract attention to any one thing. I had a 69 several years back. That car was amazing.

Did get her back from paint correction, ceramic coating. Had the bumper painted as well the underside of the hood. New splitters installed as well. Can definitely tell a difference in the VP picture and these.

Got a new windshield put in at 10am.
Leave tape on for 3 hours, check.
Don't slam the doors, check.
Leave the windows cracked for 3 hours, check.
Don't wash the car for 48 hours? At 7pm we get a thunderstorm and it pours.
It hasn't rained a drop in months.
Probably fine as it had 9 hours to set up. Plus it was coming straight down and not blasted at the joint with a garden hose.
I was really surprised how inexpensive it was as well. $333.60 all in. And it has the darkest tint. Looks bitchin!
