Thanks I guess I will wait till Mon. and call them.

The torque for the bolts is 210 in lbs with blue/medium strength thread locker.

If anybody has any other questions feel free to ask.

Great write-up by the way!

Thanks
Mike

I am subscribing to this... wanna show a good friend of mine how these new 3V's VCT works. He was asking me the other day, and I didn't have a solid answer for him.

Good stuff Cekim.

Yes, they are a feedback system - they monitor input angle change vs actual angle and if the tune tries to change their retard/advance and it doesn't happen, it will throw codes and may go into failsafe...

Yeah, sorry for being quiet...

Been a strange, busy year...

I hop on here to review the latest posts and get about 3/4 through that and get pulled away by something else...

I hear you on being busy. I wouldn't be on here right now if I wasn't on leave.

No way it's 210 in-lbs! You'll strip the threads before then. The threads start to yield at about 170. When I put my limiters in, I stopped when they wouldn't take any more torque. My buddy didn't and he ruined one phaser trying to get it to 210.

Livernois instructions says 170. Yeah... Did that, stretched a bolt. Almost sheared it off. It's 89. Comp says 89. The grade of bolt yields at 170.
