When you do the delete plate/nozzle system you take the stock intake out of the equation. It will flow enough air to support that shot though....if that's what you meant.

Sorry wasn't clear. Yea didn't know if it would get choked up at that level. I've seen pics of a hard line job and it looked like a PiTA. Wonder if braided would be easy enough. I've priced all the parts and distrubution blocks that I would need and it seems pretty simple. Can't imagine how much I'm gonna be filling these bottles after this

I was going this route with the steeda plates. The only problem is the size of the hole in the delete plates for the nozzles. The Zex nozzles are to big and there isn't enough room on the plates to go up to the next NPT thread. I did take the NOS nozzle out of my Harley and it will fit. So just a heads up if you plan on using the Zex direct port kit.

If I went this far with a nitrous car I'd be using either Wilson or Speedtek stuff.

Yeah, they make quality stuff. I went with the Zex kit because I didn't want to bend hard lines and I've had good luck with their stuff in the past.

I had considered going the spray route and contacted speedtech and they said they could put spray bars in the delete plates then i could access the jets easier....it wasn't cheap though...they said anywhere from $300 to $500 plus the rest of the system. just too much money for me .
SD stop telling all the good secrects !!!! only a few are trusted with that knowledge...and some other things. :)

I had thought about spray bars before, but my line of thought was that it will not put the same amount of spray into each cylinder. On a side note, where is SD? I need some more of these good secrets.

sorry to hijack and get off topic here but being this is a head/compression thread, how would stock 3v heads with a mild port affect compression on a shortblock with 9.0:1 compression?

How is that CR being measured? If it is based off stock cc volume and you are talking about unshrouding the valves with your mild port job(this will give the cc more vloume), then the ratio will go down.
